Email Deliverability

If your open rate is under 30%, you are not reaching people — you are feeding a spam filter. I fix the authentication, reputation and hygiene underneath it.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

  • How long until open rates recover?

Authentication fixes take effect immediately. Reputation recovery follows the warm-up schedule — usually two to four weeks to a stable inbox placement.

  • Do I need to change my email address?

Usually no. I move bulk sending to a dedicated subdomain so your primary domain reputation stays protected.

  • Can you fix a domain that is already blocklisted?

Usually yes. I identify which lists you are on, submit delisting requests, and fix the underlying cause so you do not land back on them. Some lists take a few weeks to clear even after the fix.

  • Will I have to stop sending during the repair?

Volume gets reduced rather than stopped. A warm-up schedule raises sending gradually so the mailbox providers see a steady, well-behaved sender instead of a sudden spike.

  • What about the Google and Yahoo bulk sender rules?

Those are exactly what the DNS work covers - authenticated sending, a working one-click unsubscribe and keeping complaint rates under the threshold. I check all three before signing the work off.

  • Do you rewrite my email copy too?

I review it against the patterns that trigger filters - link ratios, image-only emails, spammy phrasing - and flag what to change. Full copywriting is available, but most of the gain comes from the technical side.
